Black and white Slot Canyon

When I took this picture, I was immediately happy with it before even getting to the computer. Slot canyons have claimed my heart over the last few months, I have found that there is a lot of ways to get creative while photographing them. When I got to this extremely narrow part of the slot, I found it filled with water, while weighing my options I just couldn't do that stretch without getting wet and I wasn't prepared to do the rest of the hike with wet shoes and socks, I decided to try to climb up and over that section. I managed to scramble up to the side and the view from above was just as interesting! Art and nature are one and the same most often, looking at all the lines and smooth edges the water has carved through the sandstone it's undeniable that nature is the ultimate artist.
