Layers

After a cold night I woke up on day four of being in the park, while weathering the cold the wind and the rain nature had been fairly unforgiving not giving me even a small window of light for me to photograph. When I woke up that morning I was hoping for a beautiful sunrise, but the desert had other plans for me. Discouraged that this was my last day and I hadn't gotten any pictures I headed out, the light was once again not looking promising. I decided to still take pictures have some fun and enjoy a quite morning at the park when it started raining, not willing to give up i grabbed my umbrella and kept shooting, shortly after the clouds started coming down on the basin dancing with the different layers of the desert and creating a stunning spectacle. It was truly an honor to witness such a sight.
